Serenity Renewal for Families is a heart centered, non-profit agency which provides help and support for individuals and family members impacted directly or indirectly by addictions. We do this through family programs, short term counselling, workshops and groups.
We are currently seeking psychotherapists to provide counselling for individuals and couples. Experience working with parents and children/teens would be a great asset. If you are a member of a college, (see below) have experience in addictions and codependency, have a passion for this community, and want the flexibility to choose your own hours we would love to meet you.

Job Type: Part-Time

Hours: 5-20 per week

Qualifications
The successful candidate is a psychotherapist and is a member of one of the following Colleges:
» The College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario
» The Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Services Workers
» The College of Nurses of Ontario
» The College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario
» Has a minimum of three years of experience in a counselling setting, with specific experience working with clients affected by addictions and codependency issues. Knowledge and education specific to addictions and treatment approaches are required.

Language
English; Bilingualism an asset

Conditions of Employment
» All contract employees shall maintain professional liability insurance in the amount of $2,000,000 while engaged in providing all services for SRF. The insurance policy shall name Serenity Renewal for families as a named insured and proof-of-insurance shall be provided to SRF on an annual basis, at the start of each calendar year.
» All Counselling positions, contract or otherwise, within SRF are subject to background and criminal records
