The Struggle for Intimacy and Tenderness

Relationships are a complex mix of romance, desire for connectedness and sensuality. Learn to identify destructive relationship patterns. Learn how to build, improve and enjoy healthy relationships.

Grief: Living with the Pain of Loss and Disappointment

Loss of a relationship, in any form, causes anxiety, helplessness, anger and sadness. How are we able to create hope and experience happiness beyond the grief?

Change is Possible

Individuals who have experienced the effects of substance abuse, addictive behaviours or trauma in the family need help to make positive changes in their lives.  Themes explored during the four days include Self-Esteem, Family of Origin, Co-dependency, Communication, Feelings and Spirituality.

Alcohol Education Program
This four-part program has been for designed for individuals involved with the criminal justice system for the first time.  You will be interested in this program if you have been charged with an offence where alcohol or substance abuse was a contributing factor in a domestic-violence situation. Each session runs for two hours. The cost of the program is $200 and must be paid for by the person taking the program. Each person will receive a certificate of attendance upon completion. Referrals will be accepted from a lawyer or from the Crown Attorney`s office. Appointments may be individually scheduled or may be part of a group.
